Original sketches and studies represent area in Saint Augustine, Florida, at the site of what is now known as the "First Catholic mass ever performed in in North America.

It struck me as I was doing the preliminary sketches that the 1 new boat stuck out like a Rose amongst thorns, as she stood moored among the other neglected boats. In this spot, in the deep south in a much earlier time I could imagine what she would say if all the “female:” boats could talk in a social setting, like High Tea or something. “Charmed…I’m surrrrrr”.
